Cancellation Policies

At SheRide, we value both our customers’ and partner drivers’ time. These cancellation policies ensure fairness, minimize inconvenience and maintain a smooth experience for everyone.

  • Customer Ride Cancellations
    • Free Cancellation Window: Customers can cancel a ride within 2 minutes of booking without any penalty.
    • After Free Window: If the ride is canceled after 2 minutes of booking and the driver has already been assigned, a nominal cancellation fee will be charged.
    • Driver Arrived: If the driver has already reached the pickup location and waited for more than 5 minutes, the full base fare may be charged.
    • Repeated Cancellations: Multiple last-minute cancellations may result in temporary suspension of the customer’s account.
  • Driver Ride Cancellations
    • Valid Reasons: Drivers may cancel rides in cases such as safety concerns, incorrect customer details or vehicle issues.
    • Excessive Cancellations: Frequent cancellations without valid reasons may lead to warnings, reduced ride assignments or even account suspension.
    • Reporting Cancellations: Drivers must provide a valid reason through the app when canceling a ride.
  • No-Show Policy
    • If a customer fails to board the ride within 10 minutes of the driver’s arrival, the ride will be marked as a No-Show and the minimum fare will be charged.
    • Drivers are expected to wait for at least 10 minutes at the pickup location before marking a no-show.
  • Refunds & Adjustments
    • Cancellation charges will be clearly displayed in the app before confirming cancellation.
    • Refunds for wrongly charged cancellations will be processed within 7 business days to the original mode of payment.
  • Emergency Cancellations
    • In case of emergencies such as medical issues, law enforcement directives or safety threats, both customers and drivers may cancel without penalty.
    • SheRide reserves the right to review such cases individually.
  • Company Rights
    • SheRide reserves the right to update or modify cancellation fees at any time.
    • All updates will be notified through the app and website.
    • Persistent misuse of cancellation policies by either customers or drivers may lead to permanent account suspension.
